Remember whose you are 🦋
Remember whose you are
written by Dora Seecharan
Dedicated to the forgetful and the forgotten
Remember who you are, bought with a great price, suffered and tried for, beneficiary of a life humbly lived and sacrificed.
Remember who you are, the apple of God's eye, a child of the King, a servant called out of servitude to serve in freedom.
Remember who you are, birthed in humility, called to act justly, love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with our God.
Remember who you are. Sandaled feet walked miles and miles to reach you, be an example for you, to lead the way.
Remember who you are when you find yourself forgetting your worth, your purpose, your Father.
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. - Isaiah 43:1
Remember who you are. You are known by name. The number of hairs on your head has been counted, your every thought is known by Him.
Remember who you are. Your big brother in heaven came to this earth, fought for you, and is waiting for you to join him forever.
Remember who you are. He wears you proudly in His heart and remembers you every time He looks at His hands. You are protected, loved, enjoyed, and cared for.
Remember who you are, not alone in your trials, sharing His burden, and His sorrows, His joys and His blessings.
Remember who you are, silver being purified and tested, tried and forged, framed for the image and reflection of our Creator.
Remember whose you are, nothing to prove, you are a witness for the King of the Universe.
Remember whose you are. 🌱

Love this! It's a poetic reminder of encouragement...you know, I can see this being performed as a spoken word piece!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree! We certainly need to remember who and whose we are.
